A short story about handing Claude Code a real job — and staying in control of every door it opens.

On a Tuesday morning, Meera asks Claude Code to do something real. Not a toy prompt — an actual job. “Clean up last quarter's customer records, then draft the summary the finance team keeps asking for.” It is exactly the kind of work she would love to hand off. It is also exactly the kind of work that used to keep her from handing anything off at all.
